Two of the top ranked middleweights on the planet will collide this Saturday, July 21, 2012 as former Bellator middleweight champion makes his UFC debut against established veteran Tim Boetsch in the co-main event of UFC 149 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Hector Lombard has widely been considered the best middleweight in the world that was not signed with the UFC. He enters this fight on a 25 bout unbeaten streak and riding a large wave of hype, although his strength of competition is pretty weak. Now, he'll get a chance to test exactly how good he really is.
Tim Boetsch was an average light heavyweight but he's looked terrific since dropping down to 185 pounds.
